We're hiring an experienced Carpenter II with the intention of developing the right person into a Lead Carpenter within 3-6 months. You'll deliver excellent craftsmanship on remodeling projects while growing into more ownership of planning, client communication, and jobsite coordination. Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality rough and finish carpentry on residential remodels and additions
- Read and interpret plans; assist with layout, problem-solving, and sequencing
- Coordinate with trade partners on site (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, paint, etc.) to keep work flowing
- Maintain a clean, safe, professional jobsite; care for tools, trailers, and company equipment
- Communicate respectfully with homeowners and teammates; document changes and flag issues early
- Participate in trainings and team meetings; support apprentices and help raise the bar on quality
Qualifications
- 2+ years carpentry experience required (5+ preferred), with framing + finish skills
- Strong organization, reliability, and pride in accuracy/efficiency
- Clear verbal/written communication; comfortable working in clients' homes
- Growth mindset, coachable, team-first attitude
- Valid driver's license + insurance; reliable transportation for changing job sites
- Able to work in typical remodel conditions (ladders, tight spaces, lifting, seasonal weather)
Pay + Benefits
- Full-time, W-2 employee
- Starting pay (Carpenter Level 2): $35-$38/hr
- Growth path: After Lead Carpenter training (3-6 months), earning potential $38-$41.54/hr (based on performance and readiness)
